This page will firstly explain how we as teachers can use the power of the World Wide Web to our advantage in improving the pupils learning experience. Thanks to the extraordinary changes that have come about as a result of the technology explotion both commercially and socially, we have to find positive ways to harness its powers.

Priority must be to keeping students safe and trying to ensure that the information they gather is accurate and if biased, can be recognised as such by the pupils. This page will initially be a summary of the authors current thinking with regard to the Pedagogy of Weblogs, Blogging Across the Curriculum, Blogs as a Resource and Classroom Uses of Blogs.

I will then show how Blogging is easy to start and how Blogging with Students can be safe and of benefit to their education. I will explain the Blog software I have used and then a stepby-step process, which includes adding images, video and other multimedia links.
