VLE SOFTWARE

I will open this topic by mentioning that so far in my prevoius schools we have used Blackboard, Uniservity and Fronter as a platform. This school has had great success using Moodle, which is a web-based tool you can access throgh a web browser. The school has a server running the program on its own URL. Moodle is freely available from  http://moodle.org/. Have a look at the site and see why it's ideally suited to an educational application.

When you first visit our Moodle site, you'll see the front page with the site news and the courses being taught. Important information is usually presented in the middle of the screen and round the outside  are several blocks we can use for course and site news.
